About the EGAKU Program

I'm a bit nervous as I have zero artistic talent - can I still take part?

Yes! To date thousands of people who claimed they had no artistic talent have taken part in the EGAKU Program and enjoyed the experience.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

No you don't need to bring anything with you, we provide all necessary art supplies.

Can I keep the artwork I make in the EGAKU Program?

Yes. At the end of the program we will frame your artwork so you can take it home with you.

Do you run private EGAKU sessions for corporates and organizations?

Yes we do. If you would like to know more, please send us your enquiry using this form.

Do you run EGAKU sessions for children?

The regular EGAKU sessions we run are for adults. We occassionally hold special EGAKU sessions which are open for children of elementary school age and above. Please take a look at the website for event updates.

Registration, Payment and Cancellation

I want to invite a friend to join, how can they register?

Please ask them to register from this site.

How do I pay the program fee?

The program fee for both the EGAKU- Single session and Totsukitoka Course is payable online by credit card when you register for a program.

I can no longer make the date I registered for. What's your cancellation policy?

If you can no longer make the program date you registered for, you can change your reservation to another date from MY PAGE anytime until the day before the registered date. Log into your account, and change the date by clicking the 'Change date' link.
Please note that you cannot cancel your program registration. For details see our Cancellation policy.

Can I join the program after it's started or leave before the end of the session?

Due to the nature of the program, it is not possible to join the program halfway through a session or to leave before the end of the session. Participants arriving 15 minutes after the session start time, will be treated as no-shows and will have their reservation automatically cancelled. No refunds will be given to no-shows.

For the TOTSUKITOKA Course, what should I do if I can't make any of the dates?

If you can't make any of the sessions in a particular month, you can skip attendance for that month. There are a total of 10 sessions in the TOTSUKITOKA course, you can complete the course at your own pace.If your plans change and you can no longer make a session you’ve already registered for, please make sure you change your reservation on your MY PAGE at least a day before the session. Note that same-day cancellations will be regarded as a no-show, and will be counted towards your 10 sessions.

If I end up moving abroad for an extended period of time, is it possible to put my TOTSUKITOKA Course on hold?

Sure, that's no problem - even if you end up putting your attendance on hold for an extended period of time, you will be eligible to attend a total of 10 sessions. Just contact us at to let us know your plans. However, if you do not attend a session for 6 months or longer without notifying us, we will email you to confirm your continued enrollment in the TOTSUKITOKA Course. In the event we are unable to confirm your continued intention to attend the course, your course enrollment will expire.

Logging in and managing your account

I signed up for a new EGAKU Online account but I haven’t received an account confirmation email.

To resend the account confirmation email, please enter your registered email address here. If you see the following message after you’ve entered your email address, “We cannot find this email address” there may have been a problem with the email you signed up with. In this case, please be kind enough to try signing up again. If you continue to experience trouble creating a new account, please contact us.

I’m having trouble logging in.

Please check you’re using your registered email address and password. If you see the message, “Please confirm your account” please verify your account by requesting to resend the account confirmation email.

I forgot my password.

You will need to reset your password.Reset your password here.

I forgot my registered email address.

When you first sign up for the EGAKU Program and create your EGAKU Online account we will send an email to your registered email address, so please check your mailbox. Emails are sent from and the subject line will be“EGAKU Online: Welcome to EGAKU Online!”. If you are still unable to find your email address please contact us.

I’m having trouble connecting my account to Facebook using the “Edit account settings” feature on MY PAGE.

There is a chance you may have already connected another EGAKU Online account to your Facebook account. Please log out of your account, and try logging back in again by choosing “LOGIN with Facebook.”

How can I change my account settings and information?

Log in to your account, go to Edit account settings.

How can I change my profile photo?

Log in to your account, go to Edit account settings and change your profile photo.

How can I delete my account?

If you wish to delete your account, please contact us using this form.We will delete your account within 3 working days and email you to confirm your account has been successfully deleted. Please note once your account has been deleted, you will no longer be able to log in to your MY PAGE or MY GALLERY.
